There are numerous reasons that I have for transferring to another educational institution. I largely believe I have fulfilled my potential at my current educational institution. I have been here for a significant amount of time and have gotten well acclimated to this particular location, many of the students, and the intellectual and social climate here. I would like to move on at this point and go somewhere where I can seek new challenges. My experience at my current educational institution has been rewarding, but I do not want to limit the bulk of my undergraduate education to this one educational institution.
In fact, my personal philosophy of education includes the notion that a holistic and comprehensive education incorporates much more than just classroom or distance education learning. Granted, the specific classes that one attends are vital to that educational process, as are the instructors and the additional students that one interacts with in these sessions. However, these realities do not entirely mitigate the fact that life is one of the biggest teachers as well and that one's physical surroundings -- including campus, surrounding city/town, and even geographic location -- can help to inform the educational process as well.
